Our Mission

Bay Area Bicycle Rental was founded by three friends in 2023 to help cyclists who visit the San Francisco Bay Area ride like locals, and to help Bay Area locals check out cycling routes not otherwise accessible on their everyday commuter bikes.

The Bay Area’s famously hilly terrain is best enjoyed on a bike that’s up to the challenge. We provide custom-built, performance-oriented titanium road bike rentals — delivered to wherever you are in the Bay Area. Chase those PRs (or enjoy a leisurely cruise) on some of the most pristine, coveted road-cycling routes in the world, on a bicycle that won’t hold you back.

Our Team

Cameron Pitts, CEO (they/them)

Cam is the team’s resident bike expert. They’re a committed bike commuter, bicycle tourist, and endurance cyclist. Cam’s “professional” background includes work in transportation equity, children’s outdoor education, bicycle testing, and bicycle advocacy. Cam is deeply integrated in the Bay Area’s cycling community, frequently participating in and planning bike messenger races, leading bikepacking workshops, hosting out-of-town cyclists, and designing accessible routes for newbies.

Jacob Palmer, COO (he/him)

Jacob loves a number of things: Being a friendly force in the community, problem-solving, and adventuring the beautiful outdoor spaces of Northern California. As a lifelong lover of sports and exercise, he has a passion for facilitating people having a great time doing what they love most. Jacob also wants to play a part in building a world that is more fun and accessible for his daughter’s generation and beyond — whether it’s through advocating for more bikeable roads, coaching youth sports, or volunteering with local orgs.

Isaiah Fischer-Brown, CPO (he/him)

Isaiah grew up exploring the woods and mountains of North Carolina on two wheels. His passion for bicycling started young. Isaiah is now a committed daily bike commuter and weekend adventurer, and he has focused his career on developing tools to help people live a healthier lifestyle. Boy, does this guy love metrics! Isaiah’s favorite local rides include the Tunitas Creek climb in the South Bay, Mt. Diablo in the East Bay, and Point Reyes Station in Marin County (where he always stops for buffalo soft serve ice cream).
